Welcome to Art! The following is a list of art supplies you will need throughout the year for art class. These are for art class and need to be kept separate from your classroom supplies. Your art supplies will be stored in a container (that you will supply) and in a different room than your classroom. You will also need to replenish your supplies throughout the year, or bring in different supplies as art projects might call for ones not listed here.

· Sketch pad – spiral bound!
· Sketching pencils - sharpened
· 24 pack crayons
· Colored pencils – sharpened
· Regular pencils – sharpened (2-3)
· Small set of water colors with paintbrush
· Small set of fine point markers (we rarely use markers!!)
· Black fine point Sharpie (2)
· Glue sticks, glues sticks, and more glue sticks
· Elmer’s glue or Tacky glue – small container
· Eraser(s)
· Ruler – 6 or 12 inch, make sure it fits in your art box
· Scissors
· Pencil sharpener with container for shavings!
· 1 Gallon size zip lock bag
· A shoe box with lid, or any container with a lid to keep supplies in – a soft “pouch” really doesn’t work well so I ask you not to get one of these. Please have your name clearly visible on your container
